2024/25 Sean Dyche

West Ham should be top half easily with that squad:

Bowen, Kudus, Todibo, Alvarez, Soler, Summerville, Füllkrug, Kilman, Rodriguez I'd have them here. I also count Ward Prowse and Paqueta (I would have him as a footballer, but not personality)

Others I'd have also a few.

Lopetegui doesn't seem to have a grasp there this season to make these players work.
Agreed, but can’t see us beating them next week though.

If they give him time lopetegui will turn it around, I don’t think Dyche will for us, we’re chucking our winnable games away yet again as usual.

Relying on 3 other teams to be worse than us, without doing anything positive ourselves, it will bite us on the arse eventually.

He’s now in big Sam territory, when Sam knew he was gone but would talk about the following season in press conferences, this it what dyche will start to do

I don't wholly disagree with that you know, felt yesterday that half the players know they wont be there next season and the other half knew the manager wont.

Hes currently failing his audition.

It's worrying, because we won most of the winnable games last season under Dyche, now we don't even manage that anymore.

Be amazed if he doesn't see out the season, honestly, its why this thread is a bit irrelevant, the only way he goes is if he gets to where Lampard did.

I think if you go back to the Fulham game on Oct 27 and look at the games up to and on Dec 4th vs Wolves -- think how many pts you would be happy with.

Then look at Dec 7th - 26th.

Now see how many pts we have and what you think we'll have on Dec 26th

If i am TFG and we dont have over at minimum 20pts by then im sacking Dyche

His goose has been cooked.

Their manager is definitely the reason why they are able to generate superior results.

If they had Dyche...they would be below us.

You might be right, but Bournemouth has a well balanced squad, really good use of money there. They invested a good amount the last 2 years.

I will always be biased towards him, because first of all he's been a friend of mine for 30y and one of the biggest Bilbao legends of my lifetime. He will be in a big club one day.

6 of the starting 11 out of contract at the end of the season, along with Dyche (hopefully) = recipe for disaster.

Aided and abetted by a tactically outdated manager whose game management and subs are baffling, and were in the doo doo.

Jep, they have a really old squad for that they are probably top 10 invested money in the last 10 years as well.

The massive one for them is Paqueta. Probably worth the £75mil (?) City were going to pay for him and now his heads gone due to the betting stuff.

Take out a player like that and boom...

A top form Paqueta in our team and were a decent few places up the table.

Who are the next great managers coming out of Spain, if you could name e.g 2?

Football doesn't work like that mate, you win games you expect to loose, loose games you expect to win like yesterday.

Yeah that's it just choose the ones in the lesser teams and ignore the ones who are playing for good teams. Anything to excuse Dyche.
There's one good team and that's the keeper who has basically no competition. The other good team is Belgium who Mangala barely plays for them and is behind Onana in the pecking order who everyone called crap

Our position is a bit loose at the moment and I'd suggest that under Dyche we should be picking up pts against lower half teams and losing against the top sides

He is the definition of an 'expected results' manager.
