2024/25 Sean Dyche

It’s getting increasingly difficult for you to find excuses now, isn’t it ?

I look forward to your creativity 👍

Not making excuses at all mate, haven't been happy at all with the last performances - i posted a critique last night, everyone takes collective responsibility for that.

If performances aren't good enough, ill critique it.

Last two have been worrying.

Solving the goals issue is not just about players its just as much about how the team actually sets up and plays. You have to at least give yourself a chance of scoring a goal and we don't most of the time. When you play one up top you simply must have others in immediate support of them within like 10 yards or so, our players are always miles away from DCL due to the lack of team shape.
As far as full backs go, well if we have an issue there then how about changing the formation so we don't play with them then. Oh wait we can't because the manager only knows one formation. The same applies with the right wing issue, we played with two no10's out wide yesterday, both Ndiaye and Lindstrom are more central players so play them both behind a front man floating about.
At the end of the day it comes down to how much work the manager wants to do on the training ground and I think Dyche knows he is done here so can't be arsed basically.

That's not his MO though, is it? We know this. He sets us up in a way that gives us a solid base and over the course of the season he thinks that will see us nick enough points from tight games.

I'd be reluctant to see us adopt either of those formations tbh. Harrison is barely an adequate wing-back. Myko is not a wing back, Mcneil could arguably do a job there but is too slow imo.. He clearly doesn't rate Patterson.

Playing with 2 number 10's or a 4-3-3 of sorts looks good on paper, but you're leaving the full backs exposed at times.

He plays the percentages. We know this. It's dull, but it normally grinds out points. It's not gonna be forever. I still don't see enough goal scorers in the team though mate. You can arse about with formations all you want, but there's barely a handful of players in our team at present who are capable of getting 10 goals in a season at this level. Hopefully Chermiti and Broja can add something.

Football doesn't work like that mate, you win games you expect to loose, loose games you expect to win like yesterday.
Go over the entirety of his time with us mate, he’s abysmal and our form has been abysmal in the main. Not picking you best players can do that to ya.
And he’s off 😂
Expected losses territory now, brilliant.

But its not untrue either, look at Yesterday Bournemouth bet City for example. We've done it before.

Agree on Branthwaite, 100%, hel be in the next game for sure.

Not sure what expected losses are mate.

City have got about 10 players out injured, was always going to be tricky yesterday, that’s not a fair assessment.

We’ve done it on the very rare occasion, and it happens very rarely mate.

Ok Arsenal at Bournmouth a couple of weeks ago mate. Look we can do loads of examples.

I think we do something a couple of times a season, we bet Chelsea and Mordor last season, Arsenal the season before.

The overall point though is its not linear, as i think our own result yesterday proved.

We would’ve been turned over 3-0 by that exact same City side and all the Dyche fans would’ve said we had no chance against them because look how much their squad players cost.

Another reason to pull the plug and flush the turd now, no future with the man, and the contract situations doesn’t help us.

Id be surprised if we do it mate as i say, i think we have to get to Lampard territory in the table and ill also be surprised if we do.

If we do he will be judged on that - let be honest its a results industry with 100s at millions at play - he will know that more then most.

I’ve said all along, the gods are waiting for the last season at Goodison before they finally send us down.

The best stadium in the championship bellends are gonna have a field day.
