2024/25 Sean Dyche

“I have never questioned the fans” gaslighting the media once again, he’s had digs at the fans on several occasions.

“Keyboard warriors”
“Proper fans can see what we’re doing”
“This is what happens here” (booing poor performances)

Get him out. Utterly toxic cretin.
As if 'never questioning the fans' stands as some kind of achievement or tribute, by the way.

His reaction to home and away sell outs week in week out, despite years of absolute dross and disappointment is to 'never question the fans.'

It's like someone giving you the world's most expensive and thoughtful present and when they kick off because you haven't thanked them, you say - I think you'll find I never questioned you, actually.

Absolutely, Brighton is perfect.

However, surely you can better than what we have, and it can be done without spending Billions.

Not perfect, but better.
Yep and there’s plenty of clubs who have done so, they’re almost all above us in the table - they almost all have positive spends though. This league has a lot of quality now, ridiculously so really. When Bournemouth can cherry pick Porto’s number 9 you know something has gone wrong.

Wolves and Leicester are two good examples of why having a positive net spend usually ends with you struggling. I think Palace will end up in the same boat.

It's inconceivable to me that there aren't articles in mainstream news outlets speculating on Dyches future. Bloody Bournemouth or Palace would have sacked their manager if he had the results we've had over the last year.
So frustrating.
Made this point the last few weeks
There isn't a mention of him been under pressure. He's convinced the media he's doing a good job also

Literally the only example of it working well. Look at the rest of the league.

Tell me you don’t watch any other team without telling me you don’t watch any other team.

Brighton also had a £200mill outlay when they first got promoted to stay in the league.

Their spends then gets severely skewed when Chelsea end up paying £160mill on buying just 2 players from them (Caicaido £100mill, Cucurella £60mill)

Yeah people have thrown silly money at them - how much was Bissouma? Mac Allister?

To be fair it’s because they’re recruiting properly, and have an excellent scouting network.

Well ran club.

Put him on gardening leave if we can't afford to sack him. Put baines and Coleman in charge till his contract expires, we only need a little boost
But we can afford to sack him. He's got 6 months left. Either way that's going onto this year's accounts whether he's paid as per his contract up til the end or if he gets it all now.

Unless we haven't got the cash for the next guy, in which case, we're proper Donald ducked

Exceptionally well ran.

10 year plan. Everyone aligned. Got one of the biggest scouting networks I believe.

Moshiri blasted £300mill in one sitting and we booed every manager bar Carlo out in 18 months

Chalk and cheese
