2024/25 Sean Dyche

No it isn’t. It’s an entirely understandable business decision. The new owners don’t want the smell of rancid scotch egg all over them. If he wins enough games to keep us up comfortably, they’re going to let him see out his contract (which is the cheapest option), but if he doesn’t, they’ll boot him before the end of the season.

It doesn’t matter what he’s done to date, there’s no way he fits their profile of what they want in a manager to take the club forward. He’s not staying.

Which is why - because everyone knows this, especially Dyche - Watt's should have publicly made a point of acknowledging Dyche. The lack of class in the matter is possibly an insight as to the way things are going to be here.

...and the sight of our own fans kissing their arses after the last 20 odd years worth of calamitous ownership regimes is very concerning.

Watts' to Dyche yesterday apparently (according to Dyche himself) said that he could "go out and tell them [the media] that they [TFG] know he's been up against it finance wise since he arrived".

What a 💩house way of doing things...why didn't Watts go out and do that?

I dont like that feller already.

You heard.
I feel most like-minded with you two out of the whole gaff usually, however I'm not following the general point being made here.

Genuinely curious, I'm not being arsey.

I think dave thinks that our new owners should kiss the ring of the worst manager in the whole of Europe.

A manager that 95% of the fanbase said should have been sacked 2 weeks ago.

I sit somewhere in between.

I would give him till the season's end then reassess. Not saying it's pretty as it clearly isn't. Just don't want to be too hasty and end up with another overpaid dud like Koeman for example.

I dont. I just wanted public recognition of our manager...which, incredibly given his position at the club has been ignored by the new regime.

That's off....that's VERY off.

Commentator in the Villa match just stated that Onana said how much Emery has added to his game.

Couldn’t even get in the side under this melon headed ballbag who’s only requirements from midfielders seems to be putting in the hard yards.

Imagine being coached by this dinosaur. Be like that footy match in Kez with Brian Glover.
FFS, it must be right then.

And thats fair enough.

I hate the fella, but he has done a "decent" job in very trying times, so if he can win a game or 2, keep us free from any danger, then sure, no issue with the utter dinosaur seeing out his contract.

I just dont see why our new owners would big up a fella that might not even see out the year.

If they came out and praised a job that a manager who the whole fanbase wants sacking, that would really show them up as clueless morons.
