2024/25 Sean Dyche

It wouldn't be to praise him (though it should be given he's kept us up in the two most desperate seasons in our history) it would have been to ACKNOWLEDGE HIS EXISTENCE.

They still haven't done that yet. As said above Watts has just done things on the snide away from actually making a public statement about this manager. He needs to show some decency and respect and do that or I fear we have an utter 'kin plumb on our hands as a chairman.

Strike one for me right now as far as that feller is concerned.
I'm sure he's gutted.

Mad how much Forest have improved this season with some actual coaching.

The usual suspects will now be treating the game against Forest as another free hit for Dyche now.
Actual coaching 😂 don't get me wrong, he's a good manager, but they're 8th in the league for net spend, lemme check where Everton are..... Oh ye they're at the bottom. So coaching + investment 👍

I think Goat thinks that I think our new owners should kiss the ring of Dyche.

I dont. I just wanted public recognition of our manager...which, incredibly given his position at the club has been ignored by the new regime.

That's off....that's VERY off.
I see your point. Also on the other hand they've a F load to do in a short space of time. We don't know and hopefully never know how bad things are.

Only 2 of their starting 11 weren’t there last season when they were very poor. (when they beat Villa last week they only had 1 player signed during summer)

Pre-Nuno they had 3 wins, he got them 6 in the second half of the season. Then a pre season with them and he has improved them further.

Whereas our manager throws his hands up and asks what is he meant to do with these players.

There was a graphic just now about longest runs without a goal from open play. We have 59 shots without a goal from open play. The next worst was Arsenal with around 27-29 (can't remember exactly figure). Basically it shows how absolutely trash we are in front of goal.

And writes off the first 4-5 games of every season as squad isn't ready after a pathetic pre-season and his celebrated gaffer days.

He'd prefer to spend the season near the relegation zone rather than getting a few early wins/momentum and set a positive tone for whole season.

Like Forest have.

Achieved nothing this season. He had acknowledgement and praise for previous seasons achievements at the time. Last thing Everton need is another chairman/ownership stuck in the past relieving past glories as if they were theirs.
