He has.

The guy in your avatar can change him today and spend money. With us in a considerably healthier position than the day he arrived.
This week was the acid test as you described it. The Ipswich result has made it quite a bit more acidic. Friedkin has to bring in players, and a new manager now, or we are 50/50 in my eyes of taking the last relegation spot.

An important factor in enticing the right sort of player to the club is presumably

- Length of contract
- Salary and lifestyle
- Prospects of winning stuff or just being competitive
- Development of one’s own career
- style of play
- the manager your playing for (linked with style of play)

Think we’d struggle with the bottom 2

This tweet has worked well as a magnet for people who want to shout and stomp but don't have any idea what they're talking about, i'll give it that.
Agreed. What do you think about this one?

I think we still have enough in us to continue to grind out points to comparative safety.
But we are also once again reliant on there being 3 teams who continue to perform worse than us and Ipswich’s recent result to be a blip and not a trend .

Given no response to my red line question looks like the people advocating for Dyche to stay in situ must be satisfied for him to stay in post even if it gets a lot, lot worse.

A lot of criticism (some of it even belittling by certain posters) aimed at advocates of Dyche’s removal but don’t seem to want to nail their colours to the mast.

What a shame.😃

He’s an English manager so there is never, ever going to be any pressure from the media on him. Same as there never was on Lampard, Gerrard at Villa, Allardyce at any club he was at, Southgate for the national team. They are immune from criticism in the media.
It is bizarre. I will say if you look at his form when he took us over it was very ordinary and we were lucky to survive, yet he was hailed as a miracle worker. If he repeats last years Jan-March form we are down.
