2024/25 Sean Dyche

Not really mate … I can’t tell you why he can’t win games in August but he picks up afterward.

Not knowing the reason doesn’t mean that you can’t see the pattern.

I don’t have enough knowledge of how he works, prepares etc on a daily basis.

All that we can see are the outcomes …. Which show his teams as extremely poor at the start of the season …. And this is by viewing evidence spanning 10 years
That makes no sense.

'He cant win games in August and I know 100% its because hes stubborn and wont change.' Followed by "No idea why it changes in September though". I thought you had a well thought out opinion on it and so I asked for the rest of it, but it seems I was wrong and you just wanted to bitter-post.

We were saved by 2-3 good spells last season and I think that's sometimes the way when you're a poor, but not catastrophically poor, side. Bournemouth under Howe regularly had 7-8 game spells where they looked unbeatable. Saved them a number of times. Their luck ran out eventually, mind...
As did Burnley’s they waited 30 games into their relegation season, because they maybe felt he would turn it around or he has good will at the club. That’s no way to run a club and I don’t expect Everton to act like that. 4 wins in 30 🙈🙈

I hope we wouldn't do that, but seems to be a bit Burnley's philosophy they did it with Dyche and Kompany, both would have been sacked in the most clubs for that.

Yeah, most teams did Brighton had a good first 1st half, but only 17 points the 2nd half, Bournemouth similar to us, Wolves same.

Not that they went 13 or 14 games without a win, but not a steady season with periods under 1 ppg in 10 games.

Logically every team level or below 48 points last season had equal or worse form than us. All of De Zerbi, Frank, Silva, O’Neill, Nuno, Kompany, Edwards, Wilder, all presided over the same or worse form over 38 games as Dyche did. It’s called the bottom half. Whilst our financial position continues to dictate we sell a top asset each summer to pay payments of previous summer’s transfers then people better get used to being there.

My current expectation (hope) is survival.

The literal future of the club as a top flight entity, the stadium, even as a going concern, has been in the balance the last few seasons and remains so yet people are saying they don’t like how Dyche answers questions in press conferences or his historical win % in certain months.

It’s the equivalent of moaning about some dust on your window sill whilst a wrecking ball is about to smash your house down.

I know it's easy to say, but keep the faith. When we get back to somewhere near where we belong, these dark days make the highs so much better. As Churchill once said, "if you're going through hell, keep going". I truly believe we will have more good days than bad in the future. Probably makes me look like an idiot, but it's the reason I keep supporting this club in these depressing times.
Thanks for the well meaning attempt to bolster my sinking morale , but it was undone by quoting the words of a Fat Tory scumbag .
Appreciate the effort though 😁
