2024/25 Sean Dyche

Any team that takes a 2-0 lead should feel emboldened to finish the game off, not sit behind the ball and hope. To capitulate like this for 2 successive games tells you everything about the mindset of the club. This mindset comes from the manager. This may have been acceptable at Burnley, but he's way out of his depth here.

It’s the club itself . How many times have we bottled games pre Dyche? I’m not defending him by the way, at what point do we collectively as a fan base realise that changing managers is just one problem of many.

It’s not a culture that benefits the club , no winning mentality there. The few are comfy earning a living whilst the majority (the fans) don’t benefit

We had better players under a title winning manager in Benitez, and a young progressive manager in Lampard.

Still relegation fodder then.

A lot of our fans overrate this team big time.
I don't think people overrate it. We're not talking about Europe etc. This squad is better than it's placing. The managers you mention were more useless than this one and quite a few of these players were 2nd on Boxing day with Ancelotti.

They are the better team. To be honest, I felt we were light at the back and really we are - we are weak at full back - so the last thing we need is three of our full back injured, felt we were destroyed there. We really miss Branthwaite as well, he can’t come back quick enough. We had chances today we didn’t take.

If I’m being critical of Dyche today, felt our approach was wrong, we got joy going directly at times - other times - we turned possession into 50/50 ball. Drove me mad, poor game management. Even at 2-0 up the players looked nervy, they’ve never been the strongest mentally, but I think we saw the impact of Bounmouth today, confidence is shot.

We were unlucky not to come away with a point against a team that finished 4th last season away from home.

We should have also had a penno if our players had brains and gone down.

Villa can spend spend spend whilst we've been cut to the bone the past 3 seasons yet some expect us to compete against teams like these & Spurs. They spent £50m on our best midfielder in the summer.

Context is needed.
