We were unlucky not to come away with a point against a team that finished 4th last season away from home.

We should have also had a penno if our players had brains and gone down.

Villa can spend spend spend whilst we've been cut to the bone the past 3 seasons yet some expect us to compete against teams like these & Spurs. They spent £50m on our best midfielder in the summer.

Disagree….yes we are not great and we were likely to be in low down, but we do not have a manager who is capable of being a positive difference points wise to the team. I genuinely can’t think of a game under him (and there’s no agenda here) where he’s made a decision in a game where we have gained points from his decision making. It would appear however that we are in a phase where his inability to make a decision or make the wrong decision will cost us points

We had better players under a title winning manager in Benitez, and a young progressive manager in Lampard.

I don't think people overrate it. We're not talking about Europe etc. This squad is better than it's placing. The managers you mention were more useless than this one and quite a few of these players were 2nd on Boxing day with Ancelotti.

It's better than 20th.

But before a ball was kicked I'd have taken 17th and I still would now.

As ever we will drag this out until his position is completely untenable and we’re plunged deep in a relegation battle. We never learn.

As for the manager, feel he will get the next three, ultimately it’s a results business, but still say it would be a huge mistake to change managers.

He needs to go into the international break with momentum and point in the board or he’s under pressure.

When the instruction is 'Work Hard' and we go on a 14 game run without winning. we go on a 4 game start of the season losing streak for the 1st time in 66 years I suspect the manager is clueless. We have decent players we have bad players so he has to get the best out of them such as more possession, and attackers being attackers first and not concentrate how they can help us out defensibly. Use their strengths instead of shoe horning
