2024/25 Sean Dyche

It’s definitely a twist or stick situation, both would be a risk.

I’d of been more willing to stick had he not reverted to playing Keane and Young again.

all fine margins though I guess. DCL puts one of those chances away Saturday and we’d not be as despondent.

I think if DCL puts one of those chances in, we lose 3-4.

Ye that's how I see it. Not at the twist point for me yet, as id assume he gets enough points in the next run of games to demonstrate we are again likely to have enough to stay up

Think he has won 5 games since december is a tough job here but when you look at his stats here home record the wins ect. Would find it hard to argue he should keep his job, only thing keeping him in jt is the massive payout he gets if get sacked imo

I've said all along, Dyche is not my cup of tea, but, if he keeps us up until Bramley Moore I can put up with it. That opinion has changed this season, I think we are soon going to have an atmosphere around the place that is every bit as toxic as in Benitez' final few weeks. I think think we need to be moving him on as soon as possible, but only once we have his replacement lined up and ready to go. No more managerless weeks trawling the ranks of unemployed hacks trying, in public, to get one of them to take the job.

Problem is if he keeps us up, there'll be a sizable contingent saying 'he's kept us up 3 seasons now, he doesnt deserve to be sacked, he deserves a shot at the job with funds in the new ground'.
Before you know it, he'll be in charge 10 years and we'll all be giddy about that one time he got us in to the europa conference league

I have no faith in the hierarchy at Everton, but, cynic that I am, even I don't believe they will give him a new contract. When you consider the wage he is on, mediocre doesn't even begin to explain how limited he is.

I want him gone and not even necessarily for what he has or hasn’t done. I’m just so bored of us under him and no exactly what the season will consist of.
We have no chance of sulverware for the next few seasons so the only interest and excitement will be to see what a new manager could do with us, but even that would depend on the candidates.
