2024/25 Sean Dyche

Still struggling to see what everyone is fuming about.

I get it though. Everyone hates dyche now so you have to pick apart everything he says.

Not the first manager to have that happen to, won’t be the last.

I wonder how many people actually watch these interviews and press conferences, or do you all just go off twitter?

Anyway, looking forward to Farhad Moshiri picking another manager.

Yay.

People read what they want to read into certain lines and completely disregard context and tone. He could literally say anything in these press conferences and some on here are on their third plastic bedsheet of the day because he scratches his head too much.

Bigger picture - club was kept up in 22/23, a load of financial problems washed through in 23/24. If we are taken over now the club is in a much better position to move forward with a new manager. I’ll say thanks for a job done at a difficult time for the club.

Mate it's been about Dyche for a long time for some people. He wasn't 'good' to them when he was doing well. They were waiting in the wings to turn sour
Was genuinely supportive of Dyche given the context of Everton and finances, until he started on fan expectation of European finish after the Brighton game. He literally went back into mindset of fans headlock board members in making things up.

I think he has punted the question to be fair, if he's asked he's entitled to say "no, that's wrong". I think it's more mad that he's being asked a question about a rumour that as far as I can see has only come from some lad on the internet.
Fair enough. It’s hard to read anything of use from pulled quotes like that which haven’t been recorded.

A lot of injuries discussed, defensive over his own record, talking about things in the past
It's a press conference though mate, the first thing anyone's there for is the injury news so obviously he's going to go over that, and anything else he says is a response to questions he's asked.

I want him gone on the basis of football performance, which is all really matters, but I watched the presser and didn't think he said anything particularly wrong. There's enough on the pitch to criticise him for without hunting for extra ones pouring over every single word.

He did when he was in the echo , he was always having digs , maybe hate is a bit OTT but I do like to do that every now and then

Having spoken to him at length over the years, I can tell you he pretty much shares the same views on the current state of the cub and ownership as pretty much everyone on here.

He hated Benitez, due to being blackballed by the RS for writing a scathing article on Benitez.

He also saw through Kenwright pretty early on, whilst all those mugs were clapping his ugly grid on the big screen at the ground.

So when he writes pieces about the club, he has “ digs “ it’s due to us being an absolute clownshow and him alluding to that.

Let’s face it, if you were a journo, you’d have to go some to write anything positive about the club since the idiot Moshiri took over:
