2024/25 Sean Dyche

Yeah, and if we sack him we need to hire someone else and so pay two lots of managers wages. He just needs to get us safe and we can let him drift away... lol
Thats it no chance he stays unless a trophy or europe imo, is starting to get a full strength squad now. Maybe players in jan to so he has a chance to show he deserves a new deal. I am not a fan dont think i can type here how frustrated i was today with how poor the play is long ball and just unable to play football.

We needed a win and he got it.

No complaints from me today.
Thought he got most things right today, I'd have played Lindstrom over Harrison too but he was right to change it at half time. Made the right subs, maybe a touch later than he could have but basically did the right things. Having criticised his game management it was good today, only fair to acknowledge when he gets things right.

…..he can’t get that midfield balance right. I think he learned from the Ndiaye substitution against Bournemouth, determined to keep Mc Neil on the pitch. This time he did the right change, taking McNeil off, much less complicated.

He trusts that Doucoure/Garner/Gana axis so I wasn’t surprised he reverted to that to get us over the line.

Big challenge is finding the right duo to play behind McNeil. I’m not sure what it is.
It is like he can almost see the same game we are seeing. I thought Mangala has played himself into the team, he keeps possession well moving the ball around the team. It is now about who is playing with him, especially someone who is asked to pass forward.

Got the job done today and picked up the points to move out the drop zone. Fair enough really and that’s the aim for now. If we lost today then his position was very precarious. Fine margins really.

McNeil strike has let Sean Dyche manage Everton for another week, because before that we were getting out played by Crystal Palace at Home 🤔🫣

That was an awful 1st half performance i have seen since Mike Walker days

But I will enjoy the win and give him a bit of slack for putting Harrison on who closed down their players better which helped
