2024/25 Sean Dyche

If know it sounds bad but I don't want to win against Palace, because it's just a false dawn. If we win people will say, "he got a draw at Leicester and we've won at Palace he's turning it round". Then it will go back to same old, same old. We had perfect chance to sack him after Southampton, yet didn't take it. Now I fear if we beat Palace we will be stuck with him.
Not in your world pal. You don't get to celebrate the win today.

I feel sorry for him. That week especially when those players panicked and threw a 2 goal lead away with minutes left.

Decent enough bang average manager for me...creatinly not the clueless 'gravy tits' his detractors tell us he is.

Made up they're piped down again tonight.

He stops the rot. Every time it’s a downward spiral he corrects it. It’s what we needed in this period before takeover.

As we discussed last week...and as a Burnley fan stated when he first came here: he doesn't let the losses mount up, but he doesn't put winning runs together either.

He's as good as we can possibly hope for without cash.

The managerial-merry-go-round lot dont want that though, they want the moon of a stick for 10 bob.

That's absolute rubbish and you know it.

He was just as poor as he has always been but replacing mediocrity with brilliance is not a brilliant decision by the manager it's common sense.

All the mitherers knew we would be a different proposition with Branthwaite back because Keane is on the bench.

Dyche is still F useless.
Players available makes all the difference to managers of clubs in the bottom half.

No way we fend off Palace today without the Tarkowski-Branthers combo.

Except for the several times when they did do exactly that.

But saviour, "as good as we can possibly hope", hahaha

Yeah, that explains why he benched the actual working and better central midfield pairing too.

Players available make a difference indeed, as does selecting the best players we have in their best positions, but we can't, as Doucoure has to play.

Doucoure is a good barometer now. Was critical in the first 12 months of Dyche's tenure to get the wins needed to stay up but let's be honest he's the team is finally moving on with a more mobile three behind DCL so he's not getting back in there and he's average in the pivot.

Does he keep getting in the team ahead of capable CMs or does he get eased out of the starting 11 on a regular basis.

It's easier with Keane as Branthwaite is simply a miles better player but perhaps Dyche doesn't see it the midfielders and Tim still being inexperienced in his eyes for the role required.

Would imagine it will be Harrison in for Lindstrom and that will be the only change for Newcastle if everyone else stays fit.

I'm swimming in your tears.
