2024/25 Sean Dyche

But he just makes it harder for himself. He cannot get consistency it is all fits and starts. I just think he is slow on the uptake

As he said / implied when he joined Everton: this is as good as it gets for him. That's because he cant dominate teams for whole games and string wins together.

He is who he is and he's not for changing. He'll be saving a team in the Pl from going down in the years after he's left Everton too.

I feel this club is in safe hands with him, that's why I'd caution against sacking him...which is pretty remote in any case.

I remember a Burnley fan on this forum when Dyche signed. He stated that Dyche won't lose lots of games on the spin - he can stop the rot in that respect; but dont expect a winning streak either.

That was spot on as a projection.

It's also why he'll keep us safe for the third season running, btw.
We ve jusy lost 4 in a row and literally survived last season off 2x 4 wins on bounce

But on talksport he said he would change and only played the Burnley way through necessity. He has to have more than one way to play or that would just negate any players we have with any skill and craft

...and it's game 5 today and plenty of time to put a couple of winning streaks together again.

We're literally a win away from being 14th. To read some reactions on here you'd think we were playing terrible and marooned.
The problem for me, apart from the obvious shortcomings of Dyche, is we, for last 2 and now this one, are looking to see if there are 3 worse teams.

So far we've been lucky, we may get lucky again, but I'm sick of accepting this and Dyche won't change, his mindset is don't lose and can't deviate from it.

He's gotta go, because one point I agree with you is, this team is better than he has us playing and he won't see it or do anything about it.

It's 100% sack for me.

Same start as last season…we finished with 48 points. Hopefully the death spiral has stopped now and Dyche can see us safely into the new stadium and into new ownership.
