2024/25 Sean Dyche

The narrative put out by the club is saying ‘Stick with us’, theres a golden future just around the corner. But on past evidence of Moshiri and Co, This is not true. Its a whitewash so that the club and its mediocrities stay in power. No other club gets away with treating their fanbase with such utter contempt
Things will be better after the takeover hopefully and we may actually be able to spend some money. If Dyche can manage to get a few wins under his belt in the next few games, then we can part ways at the end of the season, buy a few overlapping fullbacks, a good striker to replace DCL, and look forward to some better days in Bramley Moore

Yep, his management ability is league 1 at the very best....

HIS Substitutions caused the bournemouth collapse, 3 points dropped
HIS substitutions cost us to drop 2 points yesterday

That shows a direct action by the manager that has a direct impact on why we dropped points. Both of them games were as good as won until he got involved.
It shows a clear lack of understanding of his personnel.

Another stat that goes a little bit unnoticed is that every game where we've gone in front in a game and the opposition have equalised, we've only ever gone on to win 1 game under him (Palace away 3-2).

Edit - twice as I forgot Brentford away.
When was the last time we`ve been drawing in the last 20 mins or so and it has been Everton in the ascendency or us pushing for the winner, I can`t remember, under this manager if we are drawing with 20 to go he generally accepts that is all we are getting and he will just try and see it out which I think leads to us losing or conceding equalisers late on.

Yesterday we had that game in the bag, takes all the flair players off with 15 to go and we are basically holding on for all that time, we could quite easily lost again.

This manager has so many flaws or faults, more than any other PL or Championship manager yet this club and a portion of our fanbase wants to persist, it`s like something out of the twilight zone! Beggars belief....

The fact he still has apparent support from those at the top show why a takeover is imperative. It's not just Dyche who needs punting, it's those at the top + Thelwell still trying to tell everyone he's doing a good job and is the right man still.

The quicker the takeover happens, the quicker we can get right down to business and start binning off all of the under performing people who have infested this club for years.

That's not true. The football in open play has been better so far this first 5 games than for most other games he's managed in.

I said earlier that he looks like he's adopting a hybrid style of set piece football and open play football. That might take time to bed in balance wise. The attacking three look much more threatening from open play than they have for a few seasons.

We just need to get that defence sorted out with a settled CD unit at the heart of it.

People aren't seeing the wood for the trees here.

Apparently it was all about how poor the football was last season. People said they’d take losing balance in the side if they saw Dyche was opening up looking to attack more and score more. What is apparent is that people don’t care at all about the football as the attacking is much better this season, they only care about the result. No one cared about the first 87 mins of football v Bournemouth, they only cared about the result.

All fans only care about the results and until an ownership change we’ve got a bottom half squad so the results will be bottom half regardless of the football aesthetic. The frustration at that should be directed at Moshiri not at Dyche, but some just want to see managers fired rather than look at the bigger picture.

Nuno makes 5 subs by the 70th minute and salvages a draw from a losing position away at Br(azil)ighton to remain unbeaten after winning at Anfield last wknd.. while the Dychosaur has yet to positively influence a game with his changes this season.
Even down to 10 Forest set up a system that stemmed Mitoma and Adingra/Minteh getting in behind and causing trouble while they done it for fun against us

As good a display of football as I've seen for years was when we tore Brighton apart down there two seasons ago; but Dyche is a dinosaur playing analogue football in a digital age apparently. We've played well sporadically throughout his time here, in fact. It's just not true we play dire football all the time. And this season so far looks like he's looking to get Everton out of that mindset of always reacting in games; falling behind and then looking to get on the scoresheet.

When we get that defence back in working order I'm very optimistic about the rest of the season. We can certainly avoid relegation with the players we have. With a favourable run on the injury front we might get away from danger this season earlier than we have been for years.

4 defeats on the trot @davek and 1 draw

Are you telling me that is acceptable?
I'm saying it's acceptable in the context of everything that's happened since Dyche came in here.

Let's see where we are in the next month or so. I have a very good idea we'll be fine table-wise and that the army of haters will be greatly reduced in size, and those who still want Dyche out will then turn their attention toward demanding his contract isn't renewed.

It is a weird time to be an Evertonian; Sean Dyche is, by and large, the worst thing happening to our club now. Before you fight me on this, I would like to suggest that having him as Everton's manager and his managing style is a bit like having an abusive bipolar partner. Just as you take as much as you can and fight to tolerate all of the crap thrown at you, and just before you are done and decide to take action, they come in and act all docile trying to score some brownie points. Ultimately, the relationship is toxic, and the club is better off getting out of there; it is not like we have a child to think about. Wait, is BMD our version of the baby?

He's a good manager for situations we were in 20 months ago, but not in a situation of July 2024, where we have a decent team together that should reach 15th or above with ease.
