Judging on our last few shortlists I am worried about what options we will actually have though.

This is the first time in his Everton career he's got actual pressure on him, wonder how he'll respond tbh, quite interesting.

Keeping Everton in the premier league isn't pressure?

I think Everton SHOULD move on from Dyche if they can provide a squad befit of a manager who won't have to play 'backs against the wall' type footy.

Get in some overlapping full backs, get some depth into the squad, and start approaching games differently

I wouldn't read too much into the Southgate rumours. No way have these new owners been leaking info like that before the approvals are complete. My guess is they will already have someone lined up for every position including manager and it won't be who the media is reporting.

Surely they won't be that bad at reading the room.

Despite his relative success at international level I'd bet that there isn't one set of PL club fans that would have him as their manager.

Our options will now change.

It's much easier to persuade now that mad-man Moshiri is out of the door.

Much easier to paint a picture of the future we're wanting to build with the new stadium, more funds, style of play etc...

Whereas it'd be harder to convince managers of that if Moshiri is still in charge because there's a tonne of evidence to suggest the opposite is true.
