2024/25 Sean Dyche

If

he reduced the wage
Increased player trading

And er well he kept us up with a points deduction.

Three things he achieved, that means the next manager under the new ownership, manage in the premier league, and will be able to invest in players and hopefully push on.

I think history will look at him better.
Took over a club on its knees and kept the head above water.
He didn’t mate, that’s the DoF job

Haven't been in this thread the last couple days with all the friedkin stuff going on.

Are you seriously telling me there's still people in here taking time out of their day to defend Dyche and fight his battles, with the takeover and financial stability now looking increasingly certain?

Mind-boggling.

They’ll never shift they’re too entrenched in their position on him mate, their too entrenched.

There’ll be one poster especially, who’ll keep bringing him up in the future, as a likely candidate for footballing sainthood, same as Benitez and at the same time he’ll keep calling Frank Lampard a Tory.

Speaking of which, as he received yet another ban?

Yeah, in May 2024.

Me saying he deserved an extension is not the same as me saying I’d give him one. I even said in a later post he might get one just to quell any players downing tools this season but then the new owners could bullet him either way.

Maybe read the last sentence.

You spend a really unhealthy amount of time in this thread.

5 games isn’t him destroying the patient. He’s not the guy to take us to the top but some don’t half go overboard on him. You’d think he’d successively relegated us to league 1 the way some go on.

He’s done the job we wanted when he came in. Soon it will be time to depart, either before January or at the end of the season. It’s really no bigger deal in reality than that. He came in and did the job we paid him to. People are acting like he’s eaten their children though.

I'll happily say I am someone who comes into a thread once or twice a week and "acts like Dyche has eaten their children."

In between my posts, you've posted 20+ times defending Dyche.

So on some level, even though when I (and others) show up, we are angry about Dyche (because he sucks) ... it's YOU who comes off more obsessed. To post THIS much while acting like the other people are the ones getting too emotional is very silly. You can't act all cool while simultaneously posting every hour defending Dyche. Very silly.

Have they? I thought people keep saying (that exact same poster actually) that "it's only been a few games into the season".
Mate there's a possibility that someone will be actually able to fill gaping holes in the squad and not with bargain basement buys. That's definitely circumstances changing

Filling gaps has nothing to do with Dyche. He's there to improve and utilise what he's given and he's got a better squad than recent Everton managers.

We still have to play inside the financial rules no matter how rich Friedkin might be.

OK? What I'm saying is if we have a squad befit of a better manager than Dyche, now with friedkin in the picture, it's a possibility that we can move on from him. We don't have to get another backs to the wall manager on a long contract if there is improvement to the squad.

Weird how much he backs Dyche but not Lampard but again the same with Benitez. He says we should back every manager, but I feel there's something else afoot. Also downright lying about only Dave wanting to give Dyche an extension, Eggs beats on about it every week, Grandoldste another. Weird.
