I was sick of not winning at anfield since 1999.
For me, I felt it was the least we were owed after that shambles against their under fourteens in the cup. And also sadly tempered by having no fans there and Liverpool themselves losing to teams left right and centre at the same time. Our performance there next season is the real marker.

It carries no hoodoo anymore so win/lose or draw next year it will not be because of our mentality, ....or will it?

Browsing Twitter, I knew people would deliberately twist what Phil McNulty said in his opening paragraph. Like a moth to the flame, they can’t help themselves.

Honestly some deserve the crap served up. I wouldn’t mind either , people have different opinions, that’s life, how some go about it tho , stinks .

Bet they struggle next season, we know how great he was at squeezing every ounce out of a small squad but we also know how that same small squad would struggle the next season with extra games and just running out of gas.

Yes I wouldn't be at all surprised if they struggled next season tbh, the Europa League can be a poisoned chalice to smaller clubs with fewer squad player numbers. However West Ham haven't the high expectations of a really big city club, they've never ever won the league in their entire one hundred year plus history and are normally reasonably content with a bottom half (but safe) finish. Tbh they've been on speaking terms with Mr.Relegation quite a few times over the last twenty or thirty years.

Moyes has had a brilliant season transforming relegation candidates into Europa League qualifiers and will likely find it tough coping with extra games next term.

Tbf he really did have remarkable consistency in the number of top eight or higher finishes he achieved here over a lengthy period. He did though have the odd off season in the league when Europe strained his resources with players tiring badly towards the end of the season.

Went for 5-6 , would have been 7-8

Only if we could have followed thru after beating the other lot and ended up above them

The losses at home are baffling and put paid to a more decent season , after supporting Everton for 50+ years I always look to next season as being the one , keeps me sane

IMO keeping Carlo is key and hopefully he can add some decent players to a disjointed squad and ship some out ?

Best thing about this season is another year ticked off the contracts of all the players we've wasted money on under the previous 3 managers. Evolution of the team will hopefully occur over the summer and we can serve up some better football next season, and maybe qualify for the Europa League. Even if we don't, for me that would be ok if we are progressing in playing style and signing better players.

Those last 10 games were so bad it made me wet my bed, something I cant forgive Everton for. So its a 4 from me. K'off Everton.

The more time passes since the season's end the worse it seems. I want Carlo to stay but I also know deep down that he's not the man to build a young, energetic squad. It's just not in his armoury. That means signing older players in the hope of instant success but if it fails we end up with a bunch of has-beens we can't get rid of. That, as we know, takes years to fix.

The season is finished and we all know it could have been a lot better but failed due to various reasons. There is nothing we can do except wait and see what develops. No matter how much we speculate on signings or leavings it is pointless speculation.
