Lass I know from another team had transferred to a different department and I was asking if that was her choice and she was saying she was told to transfer by a manager cos she had taken too much time off to look after her sick kid.
(3 days in the last 2 months)

Middle management is just full of nasty little sociopaths who often don’t progress further as people either see them for what they are or they need to be kept in place by higher management to make nasty decisions.

I’m going to tell all my colleagues through the day, who don’t know what’s happened, to absolutely obliterate morale.

Surely that`s not legal ?

It`s straight out bullying.

You got the name of the manager? To really up the ante they need shaming. But this is a narrow edge, chances are the manager reckons she's been bleating to the troops about the decision and prepares her for some more of the same.

Vindictive management only understand one thing, formal complaint in writing, which is then attached to their work file and follows them. Sadly it takes a few sacrificial lambs before either they change their bullying ways or they get managed out for being a toxic operator. They rarely change, and when they feel the chop coming turn the toxic aggro up to eleven to go out with a bang. Hideous pieces of work.

That’s what I thought but not sure on the law here. They will often put a proposition to people over here basically saying ‘you can stay but we will be on top of you all the time or you can move to this department or take this big pay off’ HR are a joke.

My Mrs sacks people all the time. (With good reason though not like the above)
