Although I'd like to thank football for the result of the Champions League final and of tonights game, the sacking of our last manager and the sale of Former Manchester United Legend Wayne Rooney.....could you please stop creating such absolutely horrific situations and let me enjoy my football in peace.

Just read a stat on the BBC that England have lost more competitive matches to Croatia than any other team since the turn of the century. Wouldn't have picked that.

Kane and Mandzukic both had similar chances, but one converted his chance, and the other missed his. One plays for Juventus, the other plays for Tottenham and this game shows you why this is the case.

The midfield looked poor against Sweden so he played the same midfield against a better opponent. Naive from waistcoat. Either throw RLC on to try and give more options or Dier on to bulk it up a little. Ah well, maybe next torunemtant some Everton players will be good enough to play outfield for England.

Lovren seemed to do what he liked.

I'd backed him to be carded though, so I maybe biased.

I don't think he was great. Held cards in his pocket too long. I think he wasn't great for either team to be honest.

He should have booked Lovren for that foul on Kane early on...and then again on Sterling. Since he didn't book him he was able to take a yellow later on.
