I'm sad for all the children on my ward who were buzzing to see their national team in a semi final. Reminds me of ow I felt as a ten year-old when I was their age for Italia 90. It happens. That's football.

Can't wait for a summer of jarg transfer rumours, players pushing for moves, wages of 300,000 per week being described as 'the market price' and haggling over image rights.

End result is the same.

They were lucky to get this far and it's because of the luck of the bracket rather than them playing well.

Do you think they honestly played well against Columbia and Sweden? They took their set pieces and sat back and defended well but besides Panama did they look threatening at all?

I don't think they did and while they did well to get this far I find it very much luck of the draw than their skill.

Personally they're two of the biggest culprits for not creating anything in open play imo.

If it were me I'd play Alli up with Rashford and Kane and RLC with Dier in the middle

You could argue Croatia will suffer at the hands of France they are a good aging team, France will be too quick for them imo!
