They were lucky to get this far and it's because of the luck of the bracket rather than them playing well.

Do you think they honestly played well against Columbia and Sweden? They took their set pieces and sat back and defended well but besides Panama did they look threatening at all?

I don't think they did and while they did well to get this far I find it very much luck of the draw than their skill.

Due to our limitations and to me looked like it was identified. For years we've always thought we were better because we had a Gerrard etc but probably played well about once against anyone of note, never mind beat most sides, or even qualify sometimes.

We'll just have to see how they kick on.

On the plus side - Spurs will be knackered for next season, Courtois is too tall so Chelsea are out of contention, Lukaku will be trying to move to replace Ronaldo at Real, Aguero has been cursed and/or eaten by Maradona, Arsenal doesn't really exist judging from their players at the WC, and Jordan Henderson will still be Jordan Henderson.
