They couldn't. France are compact and balanced - Brazil play their own game and neglect defence too often.

Basically, Brazil allowed Belgium to expose their weaknesses, just like Germany did. They learned nothing in four years.

It's the strikers instinct. Rom hasn't got it....yet. he has many years to get it still but now he is at United he really needs to start working on getting to the level that buries those chances.

Still think England match up better against France thank Croatia.

Croatia's midfield can compete with France's. Problem is Croatia has no one that can score. England have a few players that can produce moments of magic. It would be interesting to watch
