No one really gave Portugal a chance a few years ago in the final, think Croatia or England are capable of causing an upset.

France have became a well drilled machine that doesn't give away many chances, crucial you don't lose the first goal to them.
 
France are relentlessly marching on to the trophy.

I said about 3 weeks ago after they sleepwalked through their group without breaking sweat - they are about five levels better than any of the teams in this. They just got their goal and throttled the life out of a good Belgian team...the best team left in it besides themselves.

England fans better hope Croatia go into that final to take the beating and not their team. That final will get really ugly for France's opponents. They'll get a goal or two ahead and they wont stop scroing. This could get Madrid v Liverpool levels of embarrassment.

It would be more embarrassing going out in the semis to Croatia than it would be losing in the final against the best team in the competition.

Do you reckon? This French team seems more likely to strangle a game and win by 1 or 2 than go for the jugular. It's not the best football to watch but it's been ridiculously efficient.

They could have knocked Argentina off about 6-2 mate.
 

France are the best team in the competition and deserve to be in the final. They are well oiled and confident pretty much everywhere on the field. I dont think they are unbeatable though but it is going to take a better performance than either England or Croatia have produced to date. In a world cup final, anything is possible so it should hopefully be a gooden no matter who gets into it.

They've got quality all over the pitch but it's not like you're playing one of the best teams of all time. Whoever gets to the final will be the underdogs against them but there's definitely a chance. Especially with no shots on target all World Cup Giroud spearheading the attack.
