Hes been a superb player and will no doubt have a few takers. Even if in some perfect harp music laden dream sequence he was amenable to coming to us, he wouldnt be looking to the massive hit on his 230k a week we'd require. The cameo role his fitness would impose on us should impact too, though our propensity to buy injury prone players...and even players who actually are injured...would, knowing us, not be a factor.
