I agree I just think its another case of Brands hoping to get a bargain on deadline day and it not coming off.

Anyone with 2 eyes could see Pickford needed at the minimum serious competition for his place.

Because Pickford is also crap. Why do people think we need to bring in 2010 Casillas to put Pickford under pressure? He's the 18th best keeper in the league almost anyone puts him under pressure.

Olsen's performance last year at Cagliari would put him right in the middle of any hypothetical GK table. We're going from terrible to average. That is a meaningful improvement if Olsen can actually pull it off.

We also haven't signed him long term mate, he's on loan.
