Who should we get? I get your sentiment but honestly don’t know what you think the club should have done, baring in mind it’s only become recently apparent that Pickford cannot continue. There is nobody class that we can get.

Its not the fans giving him stick this time

Its not the defence being poor like previous years

Its not us struggling with set pieces.

No excuses for him anymore - the only thing that is costing us at the moment are his horrible gaffes. That brighton one was one of the worst I've seen and its just the latest in a long line. I don't think he is completely done or anything but he needs at least some competition.

To echo what @TheBigIguana said earlier - just being a bit average would displace Pickford easily at the moment. And him being dropped would be the kick up the arse he so sorely needs to revitalise his career. Its not perfect, but given our current wages on crap players who never play, its probably the best we can realistically do at the moment esp with Man U and Spurs being arl arses because they are scared of us.

The club see him as a short term option. What ive taken from us wanting to LOAN a keeper is that we’re after a Top Keeper next summer and dont wanna be locked into a contract with a player we dont see having a longer term future at EFC.
