Cavani would get it like but Ezequiel is the real Naples dream boat.

He has a tit of a tattoo on his neck, and that ear ring is naff as well. Have they all had their wages cut as part of austerity measures? Home of fashion my ass!

I'd agree with you mate.

But hypotheticals aside, I'm glad to see someone else likes Italian footie. Do you follow any team in particular?

Can't say I do pal. It's an interesting game tho, I'd liken it more to the prem than la Liga in terms of the style of play. Italian teams are very good on the break too I've noticed.

I used to watch it on my mum and dad's bed when I was tiny and it was just about the only word I could say. Used to just roll round the house screaming 'GOOOOOAALLLLAAZZIIOOO' at people. Good times.

I suppose that stems from the solid back lines.

But hey, counter-attacking football is some of the most exciting. That was Arsenal's bread and butter during the years in which everyone thought they played the best stuff in the prem.

Napoli are good at it. They've got a fair bit of pace which helps and Hamsik can really pick a pass.

I'd love to see us counter a bit more! I thought with Drenthe we might look to do that.

The german league is really entertaining. It's on live here and some of the tackles are full blooded without the ref reaching for a yellow. It looks great with rammed stadiums too.

The premier league is a bit of a circus these days so it's good to see some quality footy. I'd love to live locally to one of those stadiums and go there every week for my footy fix.

Near where? one of the German Stadia or a PL stadia? Hows the state of Korean fussboll ? Has it been condemned as decadent by nut case mk II in the north yet?

I too, from an early age was a huge fan of the Italian national teams down the years, always guaranteed to be in the mix at tournament. But like everyone else through C4 coverage became an A.C. Milan fan, and not because i jumped on any bandwagon.... The reason was,, PAULO MALDINI ! the best defender the world has ever seen.

Well if it wasn't Goodison I'd be more than happy to live within walking distance of Dortmund or some such stadium. Less said about the Kleague the better.

My Grandma was Italian and the family have always supported Juventus. My mum's cousin goes over there a few times a season, and brought me back a shirt once and their support rubbed off on me. My favourite all time players are Nedved, Del Piero, Zidane and probably Trezeguet. I was devastated when Zidane moved to Madrid, Nedved was awesome too. I lost a bit of respect for Juve when the whole match fixing scandal came to light but ah well.

I think drenthe is just not composed enough; that's not to say he won't learn the game with time though. You're right about Italian teams being organised - look at England under Capello, i think he had the players a little too disciplined though - not unlike everton under moyes.

yes. The Germans don't care about selling tv rights round the world they just get on with it. You see mid table teams with 50k plus attendances. We should adopt the same attitude.
