Maybe Catania's away strip is black so Juve are making it easy for them?

Yeah i guess that could explain it.

Or maybe Juve just like wearing those flashy pink kits cause thbey hope they play like us.

Good game so far this, commentator reckons its the most open game he's seen in Serie A for years.

Hello.

Juve player on loan at Catania just sent off for 2 yellows, commentators talking about conspiracy thoeries.

Bet there are a few mafia bookies rubbing their hands right now.

There are more goals in Italy than their is in the prem. That being said I can't get into the Italian league, everybody seems to be running in slow motion. If I want to see no pace whatsoever then I'll stick with Everton.

The nice thing about the Italian and German leagues is that its not a closed shop, a club the size of ours could is capable of winning the league there.

Football Italia was my favourite show on tv as a kid. The Italian league back then was fantastic, with pretty much all of the best players in the world (and Paul Ince) plying their trade there. The Milan side back then was something special, although for some reason I went with Inter instead (think it was because Matthaus played for them), and they were pretty much always ****e, despite having some of the best attackers in the world.

It's often slower, aside from some of the aforementioned counter-attacking teams.

But, as I've grown up anyway, I've found an appreciate for methodical footie as well. When you're a wee kid you just like boss players running quickly, doing skills and scoring all the time. But nowadays I quite like the defensive side too.

Italian football at the moment has a bit of everything, and crucially -- as you say -- like the Bundesliga (the most entertaining league in the world probably) there's competition.

I can't wait for next saturday night anyway. Juve vs AC -- that could be a cracker.

It pained me that AC Milan played in red, but Franco Baresi was just superb, he was my idol growing up and Marco Van Basten, later on it was Batigoal.

Maldini was the complete footballer for me. He could do everything. Back then fullbacks were proper fullbacks rather than wannabee wingers like they are now. Hibbo would have loved it. Loved watching Savicevic play as well. Kinda summed up the contrasting fortunes of Inter and Milan. They both plundered the successful Red Star team from that period, Milan getting Savicevic, Inter getting goal machine Darko Pancev. Of course Savicevic went on to rout Barca in that classic CL final, whilst Pancev went on to stink the place out alongside an equally unhappy Denis Bergkamp *sigh*

Zvonimar Boban. Milan really were quality back then. They could afford to leave people like Papin out of the team, not to mention world record signing Gigi Lentini. To think it was the same Fabio Capello coaching them that has done so badly with England.

The 1994 Milan team was superb. With Baresi and Costacurta in central defence, they very rarely conceded, and won many of their games 1-0 that season. But they saved their best for the EC final when they took Barcelona apart.

We had a Milan-type shirt for our away strip for a couple of seasons in the early 90s. It was about the only time we have ever worn the colour red.

Salmon pink I recall it being called, but it was red, no question, I still bought it tho, it was a nice shirt.

BUT, ive never bought an AC Milan shirt, I would never buy a non Everton shirt that had red on it, went to Amsterdam ages ago and bought the Away top cos the Home has red on it.
