I don't understand this bit and I don't like it.

Yeah I was shocked by that , but apparently instead of paying him full wages for 12 months we spread his wages over 2 years to enable them to loan him and pay us. At least that’s how I read it.
There’s still time to loan him to a Championship side or hopefully in January we can sell/loan him with the PR blurb that he’d be in the high flying Everton team but for James keeping him out ...... I’m not banking on that though.

We don't half have some duffers on the books. I've never known a club have so many 'young' players that are about 26 and absolutely nowhere near the first team. Why on earth do we give them such long contracts when they're so unproven?
