Literally no reason at all why we should win this. Screams 2-0 loss with zilch shots on target.

But the dope in me thinks we'll get a result..

They would show some pride, if they had any.
"this is your last chance to show me you want to stay at Everton next season - if you don't perform tonight I'm playing the u23s against Bournemouth and you'll be up for sale in the morning"

I'd rest Richarlison and Digne and deliver that team talk to the rest of them. Nobody worth keeping apart from those two anyway (Holgate is worth keeping but he's injured).

I'd play Iwobi and Walcott on the wings as a final chance to show their worth (haha)

Kean and Lewin up front

Gomes and Davies in the middle

Baines (won't be here next season anyway otherwise he'd have signed the contract already), Mina Keane Coleman and Pickford the others.

That's a first eleven worth over 150m pounds

I really feel with the new season coming so quickly we should be trying to win the last two games with good performances so we are able to take some momentum into next season. Shame we will probably be terrible again.

They’ll have far too much aggression for us. Will be a limp end to the away fixtures of a truly terrible season from a horrific squad of cowardly players. Hopefully this is the penultimate game in blue for many of these players.

I have very little hope that we'll be able to compete. Esecially if we carry on with the same system that we quite clearly don't have the players for... Would very much like to see Carlo change it around.

Would really like to see Kean, Gordon and Branthwaite starting. Hoping to see more of a front three of Gordon, Kean and Richarlison.

I agree but feel really put outl, why the last two. They should have been winning the last 6 but they hardly tried, bunch of tossers.

Im thinking a bit different to everybody,

A game with nothing on the line means wasters like Siggy and Iwobi might finally show up, raising our expectations before doing naff all next season

E V E R T O N, we're Everton and we'll be Everton forever, what an utterly depressing thought.

2 games to go and then we can put this utter eyesore of a season to bed.

Up next are the boys from Sheffield who have performed above and beyond this season and find themselves knocking on Europe's door, good luck to them.

Goats 11 to start :

Picksy
Colela - Kegs - Branthator - Lucs
T-dog - Gomo - Viking - G-dog
Richo - Dombo
Who tf is T-dog? Am I going mental here?

To you doom mongers on here, The Blades haven’t put more than 4 past anyone in the league since Wilder took over 4 seasons ago.

As far as I can remember.

I know you wont know this as your a blade not a blue, but we here at Everton specialise in firsts, for other teams.

- New signing failed to score since joining? Play Everton.
- Team struggling for confidence and need a good performance to start their season? Play Everton.
- Bang average dross player on a drought? Play Everton.
- Bottom of the league and no away win all season? Play Everton.
- Goalkeeper need a good game after dropping a howler? Play Everton.

I could go on.

It would honestly not surprise me if you bang four or five in tonight, purely based on how bad we are. That's before taking into account that Sheff Utd are a well drilled team who can play some footy sometimes, even if there arent any special names or players. Wilder has done a fantastic job there.

And to clear it up, some of us are doom merchants all the time but the whole forum is pretty much down-hearted about the whole club at the moment. It's not like we are inconsistent, we are just truly bad. How can you win football matches with midfielders who just aren't bothered? We have a special talent in Richarlison who plays with his heart every single game, even if he has a bad one and yet we have not a single piece of quality in the middle.

The only thing we can cling onto is we have one of the best managers ever to grace football, who will over time fix this mess.
