We are 7 points off the top half, vile that is. I would have been utterly disappointed if we were 7 points off Europe wy 2 to play. Heads must roll next week.

I think you will find that there isn’t much difference between your opinion of Everton and mine of United. I always think it’s us that is the soft touch where the opposition is concerned.
The main difference is that you’re moaning about your club who are going to have another mid table finish in the top league where you have been since I don’t know when, that’s a pretty good place to be from where most of us come from. I understand that your expectations will be higher than mine, but you support a wonderful club with a great heritage who win major trophies. Our lot on the other hand have had years of being shafted by a series of tide-wad chairmen, under investment and rubbish managers. You wouldn’t believe just how bad we’ve had it over the last 45 years or so. A few years in the top flight then back to the depths, a few cup semi finals and a couple of lower league champions trophy’s. I think that up to about 1977 we’d never finished a season below eleventh in the second division with most of our history in the first division.
You lads shouldn’t really be too down, you know you’ll come good again soon whereas all we are hoping for is some investment this time around to build on this season, keep Wilder and stay up for a decent length of time.
The support is there, we just want some reward for our loyalty after years of rubbish.
Keep the faith.

History is nothing really. I was born 1991, too young for our last cup win in 95. I've had some highs, but mostly lows. Obviously highs and lows are relative, I have empathy for the likes of Portsmouth supporters who have been through the worst. Doesn't change the fact that I have seen Everton be successful on 0 occasions unfortunately. Yes I am moaning about Everton but all any of us want to see whether it's finishing 1st or 10th is us having a go at teams and players on the pitch who are arsed. The Moyes years were mixed (other club supporters forget that we had plenty of lows under Moyes) but the players always put an effort in, even if at times they were very limited. Doesn't matter if you're Everton who have been in the top flight the longest, or Portsmouth who have been shafted over and over by their boards, if the players arent arsed on the pitch then it's going to bother you and that's what we've had all season pretty much barring one or two performances.

We get a bad rap for moaning us Blues, but ultimately, for me and im sure many others, Everton is a part of my identity and they're bloody brilliant at ruining weekends. The least we want is for the players to fight on the pitch and if it doesn't work out it doesn't work out. We haven't had that all season barring one or two performances.

Ask this to yourself @Peter May Boy, if you hadn't won at Wednesday for 20 years, and you came up against their 2nd string team with a chance to put that right, would you be happy losing with an absolute gutless performance? THAT is what we have had all season, not just against the RS. We finished 10th I think last season and we were optimistic because the players ended the season promisingly.

They don't ship goals at home. We cannot score goals if our lives depended on it so Everton will come up with a 0 goals in the game. So then it depends on how their attack fares against our defence - we have an 18 year old CB with just over 90 minutes of PL experience. the spectrum of potential results goes from 0-0 to 4-0, I suspect we will thwart their efforts until the last 20 mins and go down 2-0.
Realism vs Hope.

Our only hope is if he takes a risk and plays a completely different midfield. Throw baines in etc.

It’s on premier sports if your in Ireland as amazon prime won’t show it in Ireland.
