Shocking Refs

I tell you what though, who here would want to be a ref. Its a lose lose situation. its worse than being a traffic warden or a clamper. We have to go to Technology for the large part of it. I'm sure there could be some computerised solution for offsides etc.

I hate it when the fans start singing 'your not fit to referee'.

I also hate it when fans (i'm in Lower Gwladys) start questioning the integrity of an offside decision when its on the other end of the pitch and we don't have a clue.

Even the refs as kids games get a hard time.

Thats my thoughts anyway.

I don't think it was a pen last night when arteta challenged piennar........just as I don't think sewerez or Steve me should have had pennos last night.......just my opinion as a defender.

What if we'd miss the pen?

That's a joke by the way.

Would never argue that we would necessarily have more points if refs got blatant decisions correct as the game would restart from a different point (last kick decisions a la Poll aside of course). Would still like the opportunity just now and again to see what would have happened.

the most pathetic excuses for refs by some posters here `we should play better` all the arguements supporting the refs are full of `if`and `should` 2 fantasy land words people- they never happened, get in the real world. i havent seen last nights one on pienaar so i`m not sticking my oar in.

Thanks for calling me pathetic mate.

how old are you ijj? what else would you call it? you and some others seem to have taken a stance and decided to defend your corner no matter what, with utter lunacy despite the evidence.

Even though I've openly admitted that we have had some bad calls from refs.

Nice one.

**Whispers**

We should have lost against Liverpool, but for a dodgy offside descision against Suarez...

If the ref had done his job Suarez would of been down the tunnel not on the end of a freekick after a ball reaches from Coates who's hanging off Jags head for the assist anyway. So that's not right... he shouts back loudly but in a non angry tone :)

And i bet that includes the Suarez goal in the derby.

You only need to look mate

They say Suarez should of gone but that the goal was offside so a bad decision for both..

Personally I would class this as a foul though which is the assist, more so than Osman's foul on Gerrard anyway

So despite that Suarez should of gone, that Osmans was barely a foul and Gerard goes down like a piece of paper and that Coates was using Jags to learn to fly.. Suarez was indeed offside

thank you Ihaters for all your facts and info on the topic - i admire you for standing up and fighting for what is right by pointing out clearly what is wrong. Like zed i beleive the evidence is overwhelming (i am a lawyer by the way ) and has not been contradicted by facts but only by opinion - my 16 year old son has sadly told me that he cannot support Everton any more because he can't support a side playing against 12 men most games - he is now a West Brom fan - the young people today are very sensitive to injustices and the stream of poor decisions going against us lately upset him badly - unfortunately we have lost a fan because we mostly seem to draw the short end of the stick - i will stay an Everton supporter - but my loyalty will not make me blind

Its blindingly biased stuff like this without applying any perspective or reasoning to why the decisions were given that way that really wind me up.

Do me a favour, go through every one of those decisions and tell me why you think each of those decisions went the way they did being as sensible and unbiased as possible.
lol really or are you just trying to get me to grow weary of this thread and leave?
I'll do a couple for you
Newcastle Anichebe goal dissalowed that clearly crossed the line.. I base that on the ball being across the line and a goal
http://img.thesun.co.uk/multimedia/archive/01586/blunder2a_1586093a.jpg
Newcastle Felli goal dissalowed for offside when clearly on.. I base that on Fellaini being onside and clearly a goal

QPR Peinaar sent off for an unbelievable second yellow: I base that on the fact it was a unbelievably stupid decision

QPR Blatant pen on Jelavic denied
Cant find a pic or vid.. have to read one of the many stories running it..

RS - Sterling should of gone
Can't find the 2 blatant fouls but they are as obvious as the rest
RS - Suarez should of gone x 2

RS - for their goal that wasn't.. Osman was lesser foul than Coates.. so if Osman's was even a foul... Coates should of been blown for a foul

Reading - Penalty for a blatant handball in the box
Again just awrite up pointing out the two pens.. one of which is the handball everyone except maybe yourself saw
http://www1.skysports.com/football/live/match/261678/report
Norwich - freekick that lead to their equaliser was very soft and very few refs would of called an air shot and falling over a foul.
Arsenal - Arteta Pen was pretty straightforwards as well.
Can't find a gif

Lets not forget Leeds as well http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/ever...ital-one-cup-exit-at-leeds-100252-31907517/2/
