Simms is about turn 22. He ain't a spring chicken anymore. He should be given a chance with the first team next season and not be loaned out again like we did with Jutkiewiecz and Tarashaj etc.

Yes it could happen, but thinking it will is naive. Maupay scored much more than Simms in the championship, but cant replicate it in the prem.
Not sure what the Mitrovic links are for, what people on here say about players isnt fact, its subjective and often based on him being seen as a ‘dirty‘ player. But again, it has nothing to do with Simms or Everton.

Look at the date of my post, I was refering to the goal he had scored against Blackburn. I havent seen his latest goal but good to hear he is getting in the right places.
And Im not saying he is the answer to our striker problems, I was refering to his calmness in front of goal. If Gordon had that composure he would have slotted that one v Wolves.
I hope Ellis' goal scoring run continues.

Everything I saw of Simms at Blackpool, nevermind Sunderland, made me think, if I was in charge, he would be playing games for Everton.
he should be, he had a fantastic record with the u23's and had a good loan spell last season.
harry kane was playing first team football for spurs and banging in 20 prem league goals at the same age Simms is now and he had a similiar background playing some league 1 football and championship football on loan before establishing himself as a spurs regular
