You then have the conundrum of the January transfer window. Do you give funds to a manager that is under serious pressure of losing his job?

Funds lol

I don't think we have to worry about that at Everton to be honest, we've not sold anyone in a while

Absolutely decimated?

Either on the bench or on the pitch he had Eto'o, lukaku, Barkley, mirallas, Baines, Coleman, McCarthy all available yesterday.

He refuses to play Pienaar, would rather play McGeady lol

Sack sack sack
Mirallas wasn't fit for a full ninety mate,McCarthy came off at half time,Coleman and Baines are playing through niggling injuries and have been all season,Lukaku wasn't missed,Kone had a tremendous game,Barkley is off his game at the minute,I would agree about Eto'o it was a strange role he was given yesterday,oh and Pienaar has stank the place out in his cameo roles recently.

He's not good enough, face facts, worst form in the entire league

Sooner he's gone the better

Yet he surpassed the points total of 10 years of Moyes last season?

You are a ridiculous poster.

The sort that would see this club go through managers 1 or 2 a season. When in fact we are yet to enter the next transfer window.

He won't learn though, never does

Same thing week in week out without fail regarding style of play
Well I think in some ways your are correct. He obviously has an overarching style that he wants to play by.

I quite like that ideal, but I think at times he needs to be a bit more pragmatic before he gets his own players to be able to implement that style. At present we have square pegs in round holes.

If you look at our performances last season two things should be apparent. 1) We can play fantastic football and we have a manager who we are capable of competing at the top end of the table. This shows us it is possible to be done. We need to get the right players to suit that system.
2) He should be given a big of time to rectify this season, as a measure of good will for his performances last year.

I am not advocating an endless support of Martinez. I also agree at present we are very poor. I do think he is trying to change things, we change formations and personnel every game. I can only hope he is as radical in the transfer window in shipping out and trying to get some players in. Hopefully then we can get a more settled team for the second half of the season.

I know it’s frustrating. After recent results it can appear we are inevitably always going to be awful. Last year it felt like we would inevitably be challenging to win the league this season. There’s nothing automatic about football though, and a football manager has huge agency to change the course of a season. I think for now, it’s best to allow Martinez that opportunity.

How's he doing this season?

So more worryingly then, the entire squad is underperforming - he has good players playing badly.

sounds like the manager's fault to me

We are living extremely interesting times. These locked threads that suggest that theres problems in dressingroom might very well be true. January window comes just in the right moment in that perspective.

Im absolutely sure that this slump will be valuable learning experience to all.

Just wait and see...when we start to click again it will turn up to be sex.

The whole fcking world can see this slow passing tika taka bollvks dont work but our manager cant, thats what worrys me and it was because of him wigan were always dreadful and finally went down,he needs to wake up and wise up because we are in freefall at the moment.
