I do think the players need to take a look at themselves because i am seeing very little passion. I cant remember the last time we picked up a lose ball or came out from a 50/50 with possession.

Anyone know what all this balls about a dressing room split?

I dont believe it to be fair. The dressing room hasn't accomplished anything to be upset about

Indeed.

But that fellow was saying we are only facing one of the big guns in the last ten games.....that being United at home.

You would rather be facing the strugglers at the end of the season rather than the top teams.

No, not really. Not with our squad of spineless individuals. Against the big guns they are more likely to perform, its a platform for them to sell themselves at the end of the day...

Probably the last twenty minutes of the first half versus Stoke is the nearest we have came to seeing that recently.

The players were proper angry with the ref and they really got stuck in and we should have gone in at least level.

The second half was back to tiki taki though.

And there's your problem.

The crowd find it boring and we can't raise ourselves out if a stupor these days.

I suppose the same listlessness infects the players having to go against their natural instinct half the time.

Ok fine, we'll go about it this way then.
With 'these two idiots' in the side as the experienced first choice two (just like last season in the majority I hasten to add) then is it their fault that when Martinez selects them to play a game they cant play it is their fault for not being that type of player (because he must see like we can and know it like we do) or is it his can to carry because it is his selection and his method of playing that has us repeatedly coming unstuck?

So far as 'last May' and 'new blood' 'Van Dijk' and whatever else, hindsight is a wonderful thing, no one could anticipate Stones being out like he has been and very importantly how much of setting a system that doesn't work for the only players at his disposal is responsible for wrecking a once good working midfield?

@davek

Come on mate.
