Makes me angry looking at that analysis then. The defending has been absolute disgrace all season. I wonder how much work they actually put in on it over at Finch Farm.

Hindsight is great though.

After last season with the 3rd best defence and easing Stones in next to Jags, those two would be cover. That's a solid base.

Injuries hit. Jags out of form. Alacaraz not good enough. And a season to much for Distin. Just not panned out.

Can't blame him for not buying a centre half in the summer IMO.

Even those Besic can play centre half.
