It’s a dreadful squad but a different manager would score more goals at least, by actually allowing players to get ahead of the ball. We might concede more too, but we can’t continue with the status quo.
Players do get ahead of the ball. The sheer number of dreadful passes dropped 2 yards short of them by the likes of Doucore and Gueye is ample proof of this.

Why doesn’t the manager just stop picking those players then?
In favour of who? Iroegbunam and Garner are both injured. He tried dropping DCL for Beto but unfortunately Beto really isn't very good. Broja and Chermiti are both injured. As far as I can see there doesn't appear to be a great deal of options. I'm struggling to pick out a player who available on the bench today who has shown themselves to be of any real quality.

By all means get shut of Dyche but make sure that first there is a replacement and secondly they have money to spend. Until those two requirements are met then there is zero point.

Me too. The difficulty with that though is it has to be a coup de grace as if only one person does it - it won’t work and poses more risk to the team
What i mean is if the FB sees space to run into then do it, sod him screaming get back get back!!

Interchange positions during the game Mcneil left Ndayie in the 10, just read the game and do what you see.

Thats all we need to do to get to BMD safely.

Something needs to change and if that means the players make infield decisions that deviate from the plan so be it

Really? You think getting someone in potentially of the quality of Lampard and giving them zero to spend gets us to BMD safely?
10000000% yes

You dont think an actual coach could get Tarks and Branthwaite with Pickford behind a solid CB pairing.

Someone to play to the strengths of DCL and get him scoring 1 in 4 games, with the odd goals coming Mcneil Ndayie Harrison etc...
You dont think we could make our midfield solid with TiM Gana Mangala, with one of breaking to support the striker or make a run into the box.
You dont think someone could coach these players into creating good chances and not scraps.

You dont think we could play on the front foot at home to get the crowd onside and create a good atmosphere for the players to feed of.

Absolutely a manager change moves us in the right direction.

You will see once the hammer finally falls and this fella will be shown up for exactly what he is.

And do what? Stick cones in? Stick kids in?

We’ve got a crap squad mate, even our starting 11 is worse than the majority of the league. We also happen to have a manager who is worse than the majority of the league.

TFG needs to go through this week.

Pickford is a very good goalkeeper but also rash. Tarkowski is back-up at best for any semi decent side. Branthwaite is a good young defender but far from the finished article and hyped up beyond measure. Currently their levels are significantly below Michael Keane...that's pretty damning.

When Gana Gueye was sold to PSG was seen as a wise bit of business. A very capable ball winner but was only going one way and was sold at his optimum value. It's now over 5 years later and he's another player who barely gets a kick at a decent side these days. Another semi useful backup player at any semi well functioning PL club.

Iroegbunam has potential but is only at Everton as a bit of mutual financial wheeling dealing to get under spending rules. Again, gets nowhere near most first teams in this division. Given he's not actually fit to play it's a bit of a moot point.

McNeill, Harrison...even DCL. I really don't see which teams they're getting regular minutes for. I like Ndiaye but again there's not too many sides where he's definitely a regular starter.
