Blows my mind he still has supporters, he literally couldn't do any worse without going down. The football on show is deplorable and has no place in the modern game.

I think all the season ticket holders should get a refund as they aren't getting what it says on the tin. It isn't football, it's kick and rush like the under 8s play. You can tell the players have had the life sucked out of them never mind the fans.

He has to go or TFG's investment is going to look on very shaky ground. I mean imagine opening that beautiful new stadium only to be served up that dross and in the championship to boot.

How long do his supporters think he should be given, knowing we are in freefall with a very hard fixture run coming up?

I don't think I have been as disconnected from the club as now and given the last few years that is some achievement Dyche. Just be an honest man as one poster said and at the very least leave by mutual consent, although you should be sacked outright.

I said all week that he needed to win one of the next two if he 'wanted' to keep me from joining the calls for him to be binned asap.

What I will say though is that I seen signs yesterday of something else I've talked about recently; that being players switching off. Yesterday was the first time I've seen it, and it's very worrying. Of course, the manager never asked his midfielders to play a couple of hospital passes to defenders, but the body language of Tarkowski looked particularly awful. Do we now have proof he's lost at least some of the players? Maybe, it certainly looked liked the type of defeat you get when players are lacking belief in what they are being asked to do. I thought we looked hungry in the first half an hour though, so I really don't know if it was just mental weakness from them or if the mistakes and poor body language stem from the manager.

All irrelevant though really now. Win against Wolves and we will be 5 points clear of them. Fail to win and it's time for a change. I'd like to hope we could come to some sort of agreement with him. If we sack him, we don't just pay his wages all up front, it will just be paid over the remainder of his contract. Would he be open to some deferred payments if we offered him say an extra million over a longer period? If we don't beat Wolves we can't just sleepwalk. If we do, we'll be back in the territory of blaming it on the abysmal state this club is in from the very top down.

This is an ever increasing response to someone who offers a valid and reasoned response to a post on this forum. If they express an opinion that doesn't fit in with the stay at home blues they're on the wind up. Sad times.
Stay at home blues eh. You are aware Goodison only holds 40000, 37000 Evertonians per home game, are you seriously suggesting that every fan should go to the game? You realise how dumb that is don't you?

It is literally impossible for every fan to get in the ground and that's just the ones in this country. So well done you obviously have a season ticket and therefore have no clue how hard it is to get seats with so many STHs.

Honestly thick as mince people who trot the "Do you go the game" line out. We all can't get in the ground even if we wanted to so change the record.

Shut up fat lad.

Look, I know he's not doing as well as he should be, but I find statements like this mental. It's not even 3 years since Benitez was sacked. The club has been an absolute basket case and I can't fathom how anybody would attribute their entire disconnect down to the one man who has actually been a partial success as manager, certainly more so than the previous two.

I understand people want him gone, I'm not even gonna bother disputing that with anybody, be arsed going round in circles for the next two days. Are we really blaming everything that's wrong with the club at the feet of one man though? He's arguably not even the second worst manager we've had in the last 3 years. He's certainly not the worst.

Like I said, some players don’t want him here, they don’t trust his approach to games or how he has no aptitude to try and win a game

But yeah, keeping clean sheets negates all that

Accumulative fatigue, I think a lot will agree we are just tired of it all and he's producing the worst football we have witnessed. He does get kudos for keeping us up but that is in the past, football isn't stagnant, we are here in the now and it's not good enough.

We all thought after a pretty decent points total(without deductions) last season we would kick on, instead we have regressed massively and he appears to have lost the dressing room. Benítez was crap and so is Dyche, both things can be true but it's 2024 and Benitez no longer manages us.
