Boss collection. That burgundy? LP is particularly stunning.

Do you have a favourite?
Thanks for the kind words, I do like spending time in my happy place making a racket. The 'burgundy' LP is a matt cherry LP double cut, great fun. I like the Tokai as its been with me since I was a kid, the other Gibsons are lovely to play and all have their own character/feel, the Strat is my 'go to' one which is a bit odd as I was very cold on Strats for many years, never really appealed as I had a very cheap and nasty one in the 80s. A couple of years ago I thought I'd better see what the attraction is to others again as I'd not played one for years so bought a USA 70s thing unseen from Peach guitars and it is fabulous, a lovely silky matt neck, rolled fingerboard edges so I guess the Strat is my favourite.

Good stuff. I genuinely am in awe at your collection.
I plan to also get myself a real strat one day. When I can play to an ability and have the space to house an amp good enough to justify buying one.

I'm an advocate of going for quality (not necessarily a posh name), but the Tokai indicates that quality can be found in places you may not expect. Go play a few and see if you can tell the difference between them; there's a noticeable increase in quality from my fender Mex tele to the Strat and Gibsons, but conversely, the Gibson acoustic is their base G45 model but I prefer it over some higher end J45 and Hummingbirds I played at frailers a few weeks ago.

If I could master just one instrument...I'm a caveman, though.
