What ??? Did I say I’m going to abandon them I said I’m f’ing fed up of them , of watching them of spending thousands of pounds on them , of them having cost me relationships and a lot lot more . Going through the motions. Trying to impersonate being footballers. Davies, McNeill and Iwobi being chief protagonists.
Don’t think people realise the implications of relegation to us with our current finances.
Not my money so I’m not arsed. If it’s Everton’s future then so be it.
We have no divine right being in the PL. I’ll still support them no matter what league they play in.

The EFL take financial compliance extremely seriously so if relegation happened unless we bounce back immediately with the foundations of the squad we have and some youth then we’re in for a testing future.

The real problem is the financial compliance, given the mismanagement we’ve seen and how the EFL view loses then we’d probably see a fire sale (not that anyone would probably want to buy the majority ) . If we could bounce back with what was left then I could maybe echo your thoughts but if we didn’t it’s points deductions and then going the way of many before us like Sunderland , derby and Bolton . That fantastic stadium becomes an albatross .
As much as anything that’s why this is all so important , it’s not about losing games or about a chance of a restart it’s about where relegation has the potential to leave us .

Give up on the RS mate. We’ve got a battle with our own team, let alone another team/fan base.
We had serious talent last year in Richarlison, who along with the fans, kept us up.
This year, the fans have lost the belief, and we’ve got no Richarlison. So yes they owe us, but will they fix it? No.
I admit I am not sure of the financial impacts or FFP were we to go down. But look at Burnley, they flogged most of their first team, bought a new squad for a fraction of that (think they've spent less than £20M on 14 new players?) and now they're pegged to go straight back up playing exciting football.

The key for us , and if my memory is right them , Is bouncing straight back so the rules don’t apply . I’m just out now so I can’t check but I’m sure it’s about £13m loses a year for 3 seasons . So no chance we comply .
