Honestly though if we only get a cheapo striker in I'll be furious. 15m left over from the summer, 5m minimum for Jelavic. We should be looking at proven quality 10-15m of pure goalscoring talent. We all know if the money isn't spent now it disappears and our transfer funds for the summer consist of how much we can get for Baines and nothing more. We're fourth in the league, wouldn't it be amazing for the chairman to give the manager a fair crack at staying there?

if its true and he comes in as our 2nd choice striker for a fair sum that's fair enough, but im hoping he isn't in line to take over lukaku for next season as he sounds a massive unknown and to be an unknown at near age 28 this season and until this season being in the Spanish 1st division, I doubt he is gonna be quality enough to be our 1st choice.

Last year was very different. I would like to think that a martinez Everton would be a better move for him than a Moyes Everton. Would negredo move to everton if still in spain now??
