Silly Season January 2014

The said mod IMO needs a serious kick up the ass for this silly action!

No offence lad.

Behave. He said it would be a good week, which was followed by a whole lot of rumour and conjecture over what that meant. We have no concrete knowledge whatsoever to be discussing.

Concrete information can be discussed in their own thread, rumours go in here.

We need at least 3 more bodies in who can genuinely contribute mate, cm, winger/am and striker
The Sunderland loss really grates, I know it was just a tonne of bad luck all at once but it seems none of our rivals are being affected by similar luck.

People were discussing possibilities based on his information.

A hell of a lot more interesting than this thread thats for sure!

His information is solid as has been proved many times, he created a thread as a platform to release information (like he did in Mirallas thead, posted every now and then), and this platform has now been pulled away. I doubt if he will even post in this one now.

I can't see many users agreeing with the decision to move this thread.

Whatever the big news is regarding a player securing his future is I hope it's Gareth Barry. I can't stress how important it is for us to sign him permanently, even if we get another 2 good seasons out of him.

I don't see it as big breaking news if Baines or Barkley sign new contracts, I think things like that are every day things for players at the club regardless of their links with other clubs.

It's always the way mate, we don't tend to get the breaks at times see liverpool and the blatant dive last night for the example of spawn), that sunderland games horrid when ya think about it, and pretty much took away the great result against united, even worse was with 10 men we still deserved the result

Barry signing is pretty much nailed on by most though mate for the summer, so the BIG news in that regard for me would be freeing up a domestic loan spot for the likes of a de bruyne (IF chelsea would loan another to us ofc)

Sheedy wasn't ITK. He didn't proclaim to be.

He'd regurgitate what was in the press and people think that's ITK.

The bad bell whiff little curly was even worse for not knowing anything and being as vague as hell.

Davidmoyes is the only one worth listening to.

you are wrong mate.

Sheedy is good friends with an agent who mostly represents Stoke players.

most of the ITK knowledge he had was not about our players but occasionally it was. I have been reading Sheeds stuff for about 7 years, trust me, he does get it right and NOT spout crap from the papers.

agree with this. dropping the 3 vs sunderland hurt plus stoke played 11atb against us but decide to get in an open game with the RS

On his domestic plans, Barry added: "It will just be a conversation to have at the end of the season.

"The manager (Roberto Martinez) said that when I signed there would be no pressure on myself or the club to make decisions around this time.

"I'm enjoying working with the manager, this is a great bunch of lads and it is a fantastic club. So certainly from that angle it is perfect."

to quote from it

A proven liable source gave us a snippet and SOME let there minds run away with them. If he has more info on the snippet to add where would he now put it? Oh that's right he can't because his thread was removed. Start another thread? Oh hang on no point, it will probably get moved into this car crash of a thread...so will probably just not bother at all.

Doesn't overly bother me, as my life doesn't revolve around threads on the internet and the right or wrongs of there substance and where they should belong....

Just think it was poor form on somebody who DOES offer something of relevance on such thing as a Everton forum.

So if we have a thread on a injured player started, and people mention replacements we could get in to cover for them in that thread, its gonna be merged into here now too?
