And very good at buying them too...20m profit on those three. And look at Seamus, Jags, Distin, Baines etc.

I agree, we need to break the bank for one Big Player...comfortably beating our record 15m for Fellaini. Think it might happen in the summer rather than now, tho'.

I suppose when you're towards the top of the table, you're shyte smells like perfume

He's 41 behind Charlton at the minute so 42 to go top.

He'll do that in 2-3 seasons I reckon.

See you in 2017 Wayne!!

pretty much this...he'll be 30-31 when he's ready to come home (barring major injuries or crap form).

I for one won't be interested, we did that with Gazza, Mark Hughes, Ginola.

Rooney either comes at the latest in the summer, or not at all.

Rooney is hellbent on being top of the Utd all-time scorers charts. He's not going anywhere until that's done.

You mates with Wayne or are you just plucking something out of your arse like several other people in this thread or on Twitter?

If I was to hazard a guess, I reckon Chelsea's more likely to be Wayne's next destination.

Unlike you, I've read interviews with Rooney.

And if you know your history of record goalscorers, once they come within touching distance of a club record, especially a big club, they become hell-bent on it. It's their chance of immortality.

See also interviews with Ian Wright, Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer.

That confirms it then. Rooney definitely doesn't wanna leave utd so we can all go home now.

Well I've also heard Rooney say personal goal scoring records mean nothing, it's all about the team and them doing well...

Ones a lie....don't believe everything you hear and read.

Can't see him signing a new deal with United, and he'd have to do that to have even half a chance of that record.
