Am I missing something re: Matias Suarez?. Are all you guys (including caught offside) mulling over his potential transfer complete and utter bellends?

A simple google re: our possible striker/attacking midfielder saviour reveals the following:

Good shout on that one, cut the insults out though lad, not everyone spends time googling to see if a players injured when hes been linked via a rumor (sportsdirect i think this one was)

If you just google his name alone, let's say purely for the purposes of seeing who he is, the second link on the page is headlined "Matias Suarez out for the rest of the season" dated Oct 28th.

Could save a lot of wasted time speculating and discussing a completely obvious non-starter.

Takes roughly 5 seconds and the ability to type. Not brain surgery, or particularly time consuming.

there are numerous people in this thread rubbishing caught offside, even as they quote it as the source of the transfer.

Call me crazy, but if you have a dubious source known for utter kosh, you might want to check the facts they are referring to before speculating on it's potential viability.

If I'm being offered a car, by a renowned dodgy car salesman, I generally check his facts before I make a downpayment. Or even before I blag about the how sweet the potential vehicle is with my mates.

I think it's commonly known as due diligence. But that's just me. I'm not fond of wasting energy.

that's the problem right there. Sports Direct News literally make stories up. They linked Baines to Liverpool a while back ffs!

We have good cover behind lukaku that between the three make a threat but we could do with a Berbatov type in this area. Just that extra class with a final ball or shot that might have meant 3 points today.

Im not sure if Berba himself would be the answer but does anybody else see this addition being the cherry on the cake with regard to getting full potential/points from the team we have right now.

Berba had a game and a half for Fulham yesterday, some of his touches/general play is just incredible. Despite his age, wouldn't object to seeing him in blue.
 
Berbatov would be completely wrong for our style of play. He's a second striker, a poacher. We need someone with a bit of pace and strength.
