We wont sign anybody and then send them out on loan, we aint Chelsea, possibly if we bought some of the young uns from Scotland for a few pennys we might, but we certainly wouldnt buy a striker for 8m and then loan him out, whoever made up that story is a clown.

will he hell mate, he has about 18 months on his contract and Chelsea don't need the money, if he wants out/Chelsea want another striker he will go for somewhere between £20-25 mil

Villa like us haven't the cash at the moment to sell for less, so drive a hard bargain (like we always get good money for players) Chelsea piss that sort of money up the wall for fun as do citeh who pay large parts of adebayors wages still

Lukaku has 30 months left on his current contract (ends August 2016)

If they are going to get around £17 million for Kevin De Bryne, nearly double what they paid, as sure as eggs are eggs they will be looking to get between £30 & £40 million.
Its great from an Everton view having him on loan but his performances and goals have continued to push his value up.

Yep. Anyone hoping to sign Lukaku will be looking at forking out at least 30 million. He is still only 20 and his Premier League scoring stats are phenomenal; 17 goals in 35 appearances for WBA, 9 goals in 19 appearances for Everton so far. He is yet to score for Chelsea, though.

Do you think so?? He started off well but they hype was in over drive before he'd even played, then he got off to a flying start to further enhance his reputation. If you were watching him now, his performances aren't increasing his value whatsoever.

The main reason for the hype is Chelsea's striker problems however even if he was there now I don't think he warrants a start on current form and I don't for one minute think he has a future there. When you watch him week in, week out, you can see why. It's still all potential.

If you can afford £50 million strikers you wouldn't have the current Lukaku anywhere near your team. Come The summer they'll have Rooney, Falcao or the current fashionable big name playing for them.

Guidetti to Stoke. We couldn't have bid for him, like?

He did well at Feyenoord. We can't have another loan from a Premier League club at the minute though and I don't think City want to sell. Plus could we rely on a player with no Premier League experience to deputise for Lukaku?

Re. Kenwyne Jones - I'm actually not arsed about it. I see it as if we spent 1m on him and we got into Champions League cos he went thru a purple patch like K Campbell when he joined, or Jelavic when he joined....then maybe get him in for that sole purpose. Once mission accomplished his value will increase and we can get rid for profit and get the right guy in in the Summer.

You mean like trying to getting rid of Johnny for the last 4 years.
