I think something that shouldn't be forgotten whilst we're all a bit disappointed that nothing has happened yet this week is that the team has been in Tenerife. You'd think if we were to sign someone it would be at Finch Farm with Roberto and co present.

A lot of people knew he'd had the medical, plus there were pictures of him pitch side before he was paraded.

Get what you mean though, nothing official was said by Martinez or on the OS.
 
I think martinez has really got to get players in early, as we've got a game with the shoyt which could be crucial and we need more players to get us through the season, we need a bigger squad (not tottenham, 86 CM's big) but we need a few more in. We deffo need a ST, but I think we need more strength in Midfield, if McCarthy or Barry gets injured we'll have to play Osman, not too bad but if we want top 4 we need better.

You know that news will break on Monday right? I mean why break it now? We don't play until Monday. If they break it on Monday it will make the fans heading to West Brom super happy and in turn they'll be super supportive at West Brom. There's a reason why McGeady wasn't revealed until the Norwich game.

we got a brilliant deal for victor but why bring someone in who is similar to what we sold. In the summer we clearly moved on from players like that so why try and sign one now, cos there not goalscorers, and just big lumps and put in a performance when they fancy it!

we want and need better!.

martinez said he wont let jelavic go without a replacement lined up.

perhaps he has a top striker , an average striker , and a stop gap striker lined up. but currently doesnt know which one to go for due to other factors.

ie heitinga leaving will free up a huge chunk of wages. these freed up wages (or not) will determine which striker he can sign.
