I wouldn't really be that arsed if we didn't get tadic. For me i think it's more important to get a central midfielder in. Tadic is more of a winger / center attacking mid, and i think we already have barkley for centre attacking mid and i'd rather use him there than for dropping back.

Thats it, IF we ever signed Tadic, he'd only get used out wide or centrally on the odd occasion we rested Barkley cos the ACM position is his now.

I think if we can keep Deulofeu for another season, with McGeady already signed up, i dont think we'd need Tadic right now, but it is a squad game these days and Martinez may veiw that differently come the summer?!

He'd improve us though, we'd have real options all over the pitch and on the bench. I'd also be suffering with blue wet dreams from now untill the end of the season.

I don't like the idea of waiting till the summer to buy. One, I don't trust the board to keep the money from our sales. Two, if we get Traore on loan then we could have possibly all 4 key first team loan players leaving in the summer. Three, We are probably not going to keep Lukaku and Vellios' contract runs out this summer. We're going to have to buy an entire set of forwards who are only going to have a couple months (if bought early in the summer) to adapt and the expectations on them will be huge.

This doesn't sound like a recipe for success to me.

Come in for Morrato and the young lid from valencia and whichever one we of those is willing to come in on a perm get them in tbh, adding a young20-21 yo spanish striker with previous for tearing up a youth championship for spain would be an immense signing and signal of intent to build a young team that can compete for years to come

If you mean Morata,watched him play in midweek,he got an elbow in the eye and spent the rest of the game jogging back over to the bench for ice and to complain.He might find the Prem a bit of a challenge.

Do you think Martinez isn't aware of any of those points you've just mentioned above?

I'm sure he is and has a plan for each and every one. He strikes me as a very intelligent guy and one who looks far into the future.

I agree that we don't want to be buying loads of players in the summer like spurs have done but theirs not many deals floating around at the moment so a short term loan to just keep the ship steady would be ideal . Making champions league is a must thought . I think both a centre mid and striker will come in before February. In summer though we need to buy lukaku or a replacement plus another forward to replace Jelavic and i think he will also target another centre back
