We'd probably play Tadic on the right if we got him and shift Mirallas to the left since Tadic is a left footer who likes to cut inside

Possibly but if we sign Tadic when Del is fit we will have Mirallas,McGeady,Peinaar,Del and Tadic for 2 spots. Which I would think someone in that group would play in the no 10. role moving Barkely deeper (when he's healthy)...Unless peinaar, del, and mcgeady or mirallas move to the bench. Just don't think its a need in this window but would pleased if we got him though. always good for to have plenty of options!

and that is the key to success, squad depth and options like you say. The amount of times injuries have bit us on the arse and we end up with such a poor bench. Can you imagine having Robles, Stones, Oviedo, McGeady, Traore, Pienaar, Barca Boy on the bench with the likes of Osman, Naismith and Alcaraz fighting it out for a spot just to get on the bench. Thats not even mentioning Gibson coming back and Kone both out long term and I aint mentioned Heitinga. I rate Pienaar by the way I was just using him as an example if he was dropped. That's the kind of squad that wins trophies then because it aint about the first 11, its about having 18-21 players who can all do a job and improvd the overall depth and options.

If the Tadic rumors are true and we sign him it will be so **king amazing. We would have depth and competition for places all over the place. We could take on the league, the cups and europe rotating the squad without sacrificing quality.
