Incredible to think Liverpool have spent 43 million on this year's strikers and loaned 16 million worth out to other premier league clubs.

We have spent 5 million on ours, don't own 2 and sold 2 for twice as much.

And people think we are doing good business!

Ouch...I seriously think we need to add 2 players...as I think its dangerous assuming the players coming back from injury will outnumber those picking up injuries and we are VERY thin atm already...

What the hell is going on!?? That is just ridiculous we're desperate for bodies especially a striker and why the hell release Heitinga and not replace him??

IS there really money there? Or are we really that badly in the **** financially that we're having to get more players out and off the wage bill and not replace them?

If lukaku is out long term, it is pathetic if we dont sign a replacement.

I am away for the run-up for transfer deadline day, it could be quite something on here this week.

3 days to get medicals,visas, personal terms and instalments sorted out.

Says Lukaku will be out for a long time but no willingness to add to the squad. Sorry but that's not the right attitude if there is money there.

Wage bill though, you bring in a major earner, another has to leave. The fees in and out are a separate issue.
